Firestone Building Products Europe, situated in Zaventem, is the regional head office for Europe and Asia. The company handles all sales, marketing and technical support of Firestone distributors and contractors in its region.
To strengthen the company’s marketing approach, Firestone is looking to enforce its marketing communication division with a highly motivated Marketing Communication Manager.

In this challenging position you will take up a leading role in initiating, developing and steering the marketing communication approach for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. As a people manager you steer a team of 2 Marketing Communication Specialists. Your department is responsible on the one hand for the development and implementation of marketing communication programs and on the other hand for the organization of Trade Shows, Meetings and Incentives Events. Furthermore you will advice and support the Firestone distributors on marketing communication matters. Another important mission is to keep a close watch on house style and brand guidelines in order to reinforce the Firestone brand. You will liaise with Firestone Regional Sales Managers. You will present recommended and defend proposal(s) and budgets to the management. Reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Profil:
• A successful similar experience of 5 years in a marketing communication position in an European/ international environment.
• People management skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Hands-on person with a decision making ability.
• Organized and able to work to high standards with respect for deadlines.
• Flexible, dynamic and assertive personality. International minded. Integrity and passion are key values.
• Good knowledge, spoken and written, of English and Dutch, or French. Any other language is an asset.
• Liking to travel occasionally throughout the EMEA area.
• Minimum Bachelor education or Master.
